La Saucisserie’s smallest gîte is a cosy base for two adults and two children, with a private garden and terrace, a space-themed bunk room and use of the shared heated pool.
At the front of La Saucisserie, Walnut is a cosy choice for a couple or young family. Its open-plan living area and private garden make an easy base for quiet days in the Green Dordogne.
Compact and comfortable
On the mezzanine level are a double bedroom and a space-themed children’s room with bunk beds, sleeping two adults and two children. The upstairs ceiling height is 2.15 m. There is one shower room.
The kitchen, lounge and dining area share one welcoming space. There is a four-ring gas hob, Ninja air fryer, microwave, fridge with freezer compartment and Nespresso machine, together with a dishwasher and washing machine. Wi-Fi and a television are provided.
Your own outdoor space
The private garden and terrace have countryside sunrise views, outdoor seating and a barbecue. Spend summer afternoons at La Saucisserie’s shared heated pool or enjoy the games and open space in the grounds.
Enjoy La Saucisserie
The four gîtes share 2.3 hectares of grounds, with lawns, woods and a stream. The fenced, heated 11 × 5 m pool opens from May to September. Children can enjoy the swings, slide and trampoline, while table tennis, pétanque, badminton and giant chess offer plenty to do together.
Le Petit Cochon, the on-site bar, has a pool table, darts and a television. Mountain bikes and a tandem are available to hire, and there is secure bike storage. Highchairs can be requested.
Explore the Green Dordogne
Saint-Pierre-de-Frugie is around 500 m away, with an organic grocery and bistro. La Coquille, around 5 km away, has a railway station with services towards Limoges and Bordeaux. This is a peaceful base for countryside walks, cycling and days out in the Dordogne.
Arrival and tourist tax
Check-in is from 16:00 and check-out is by 10:00. Please enquire about early arrival or late departure; these may be possible for a small additional charge, by arrangement.
Tourist tax is not included in the accommodation price and is payable to the host on arrival. The current rate is €0.75 per adult per night and may change.
