Clear from request to confirmation
How booking works
ChezFrance combines the ease of secure online booking with the accountability of booking from an independent accommodation provider.
Choose exact dates and see the full quoted price
Search results and property pages use the locally published rates and calendar state. A booking request can only proceed when the selected dates have a complete price and are not blocked.
ChezFrance does not add a guest booking fee. Any compulsory property charge shown in the quote forms part of the recorded stay total.
Send a request without entering card details
You review the dated booking agreement and send your contact details to the accommodation provider. A normal request does not ask for card details, create a Stripe payment or place a card hold.
The request is not a confirmed booking. Its quoted dates, price, payment terms and agreement versions are recorded so that the provider can make an informed decision.
The provider accepts or declines
The property owner or agency is the accommodation provider and merchant of record. For a normal request, they approve or decline it before any card payment is requested.
If the provider approves, ChezFrance holds the dates for a limited payment window and sends you a private payment link. If they decline or the request expires, no card payment has been created.
Pay an agreed balance when it falls due
At the approved payment step, the provider charges the deposit, or the full total for a late booking, through its connected Stripe account. The booking is confirmed only after that immediate payment succeeds.
Where the quote includes a later balance, checkout states its amount and due date and asks for explicit consent to save the payment method and charge it on that date.
The accepted booking terms and the provider’s stated cancellation policy govern the booking. ChezFrance does not create extra cancellation or refund rights on this page.
