A holiday home in Lot with space for up to 6 guests.
Lets are managed by Halcyon Leisure, a specialist holiday rental agent for this area of France since 1986.
The traditional construction, which has largely been preserved, protects from the hottest of days in the summer. Several original features remain, including beautiful chestnut ceiling beams.
The well equipped kitchen has a gas hob and electric oven, a large American style fridge freezer, a microwave, a dishwasher, coffee machine, toaster, and mixer as well as ample high quality crockery.
The original cattle barriers separate the kitchen from the dining area which has a stylish dining table for 6 guests.
A large sitting room has an open fireplace and ample comfortable seating. Sky satellite TV and a DVD player is available, with a good selection of DVDs at the property. Wi-Fi at Clavel has been upgraded to Direct Fibre.
Off the sitting room is a double bedroom with ensuite shower room with WC. This bedroom has a large television and music centre, and doors open out onto the terrace and garden.
Off the main hall, steps lead down to a small shower room with WC.
Stairs up from the sitting room lead to two more double bedrooms that share a WC and basin on that floor. One of the bedrooms is situated under the pigeonnier tower and its timber beams can be admired overhead.
A utility area in the garage has a washing machine and a tumble dryer.
Outside there is a large garden of almost 1.5 acres. The main feature is a heated swimming pool 11 x 5m with and an electric cover for safety, also great for protecting the pool temperature. NEW steps have been installed and the ladder removed, so entry to the swimming pool is easier as of June 2026. Surrounding the pool is a terrace area with sun loungers and outdoor sofas. A ping pong table, a badminton set, and 2 adult bicycles are available for guests. If you would like to use the bicycles please enquire so we can make sure they are well serviced before your stay. A gas BBQ is available in the alfresco dining area by the terrace.
The pool heating is inclusive in your rental of Clavel from June to mid September, as well as bed linen, house towels and tourist tax. No surcharge for your furry family!
